FinerWorks will post tracking and shipping information, which will be sent by email to the seller. In some cases, we are still able to update the Etsy order itself with this information; however, take note of the following issues as per Etsy policy changes that went into effect late October 2024.
U.S.-based Etsy Sellers:
Only for Etsy legacy store connections. These are seller stores that connected to FinerWorks after late October 2024.
Due to policy changes within Etsy, any connections after that do not provide 3rd parties like FinerWorks the shipping address as part of the order details.
This means if you connected your shop before late October, 2024, you should be good, and you will want to keep it connected. Otherwise, if you reconnect, we will no longer have access to the address information.
You will still be able to import your orders; however, you will need to type in the shipping address.
Also, only for legacy store connections, Etsy will allow us to post shipping information once the order has shipped.
Non-U.S.-based Etsy Sellers:
Currently, they should not be affected by the U.S.-based seller policy.
