Did you know that you can order a run of giclee printing offline. One little known secret is FinerWorks, while being an online print on demand service for artists and photographers, also has an offline program. The offline program provides the flexibility for artists, curators, decorators and businesses needing large or massive print runs to place special orders they might otherwise not be able to on our website. The advantage to these larger runs is we are able to still offer volume pricing on other media types not available for online orders.
While placing an offline order with us won't make sense if you are only doing a dozen or so copies, it can make sense if you are requiring a run of a couple hundred or more copies of a particular print as a 16×20 or larger, or if you need a massive run of various sizes on a particular media type we don't offer online. You will need to contact FinerWorks on the specifics but generally the program works in this fashion.
You will supply FinerWorks with your high quality image files. FinerWorks will review your files and come up with an estimate. Once you approve the estimate you will be responsible for half of the cost up front. FinerWorks will bill that cost and send you actual hardcopy proofs to sign and approve. Once you have approved your hard copy proofs your order will go into production. The balance will be due on the day your order ships.
Of course you can request printing on some of the media types we offer online but we have discovered that on occasion places like hospitals, hotels and other venues which are trying to keep some consistency with their current decor may have specific media requirements. As a result and because we frequently are asked about these brands, FinerWorks offers some special request media types for these high volume offline orders. Check the options below and make sure you contact us for a quote when you have an opportuntity to place a very large order with FinerWorks.
