We are thrilled to let you in on some exciting news! We’re developing a new Mobile and Web-Based Order Fulfillment app just for you. Picture this: you can connect to multiple platforms and import your orders with the grace of a synchronized swimmer (minus the water). We’re talking Squarespace (a favorite among artists), Shopify, Etsy, and soon, WooCommerce (also a favorite due to its lower cost), Wix, BigCommerce, and Square.
While our development team is busy making this dream a reality, you can still rely on our existing Order Fulfillment App. It’s a nifty tool for sending your orders to us faster than you can say “giclee print.” I know some of you feel that managing products and syncing them with our Virtual Inventory is about as fun as untangling Christmas lights.
Here’s a tip: on platforms like Squarespace, Shopify, and Etsy, each product or its variants have a field called “SKU.” Match this SKU with a product in your FinerWorks Virtual Inventory. This way, when you import an order from your online store, we know exactly what to print and fulfill for you. If you’re a Shopify user, remember to assign the product’s fulfillment location to FinerWorks. This ensures your Shopify store automatically updates your customers with tracking information when we ship the order.
To manage your products in FinerWorks’ Virtual Inventory, just click on the Virtual Inventory link in your account menu. It’s as easy as pie (and much less caloric).
Quickly Syncing Your Products
If you’re using the current Order Fulfillment system, there’s a quicker option some Squarespace and Shopify users prefer for product syncing. Even though the interface could use a little more sparkle, this method helps you move your virtual inventory to your store and ensures everything connects correctly. Just head over to your FinerWorks Virtual Inventory, click the “Syncing Shopify” or “Syncing Squarespace” button, and choose the items you want to transfer. Keep in mind, though, there are some limitations. Only the most basic but essential info can sync, and some of you might find the product thumbnails too small or not as fancy as you’d like. In that case, you may need to channel your inner artist and manually create and upload the product images through your store’s product management system.
Order HD Chromaluxe® Metal Prints
Print your artwork or photography as custom-size metal prints. Using the dye-sublimation process, your image is fused to the surface of rigid aluminum panels. These provide a modern look when decorating your home or office. Choose from multiple metal surface options. Order it framed, with a float wall mounting or even with a tabletop easel back.
It seems a little overwhelming. I have WooCommerce on my website and would like the quickest way to link to your printing and drop shipping company. Would it be sufficient to just send you the images. I think I have quite a few on file now, but no response about it when I asked information before. Please let me know if I have a list of art that is in good printing resolution in a file with my name on it, so if I ask for prints and give an address, you can send me a bill, print, and ship.
I wish it could be as simple as that. However since our lab has to manage literally thousands of prints each day, it would be difficult to implement and be highly prone to human error. It would also be more costly since there would be added labor cost since someone would have to setup each order so that it is properly billed, and understood by the production line on how to proceed.
Hi! Do you have a solution for a Wix website shop print inventory link up for either drop shipping or for regular orders I can pick up from you myself? (I live nearby) I am looking to get my shop set up for prints and I love the quality of your products.
We are working on it. It was supposed to be this year but we may but may be getting moved into first quarter of 2025.
Hi James … I’m currently in the process of building a POD website and trying to select the best platform . Originally I was looking at Squarespace with the intention of integrating Shopify . I have been having trouble with thy Squarespace platforms functionality . I understand that WIX now offers AI design functionality that is supposed to be really good . What is the status of using WIX with integration into your system ? Thanks .
Wix is slated for sometime this year but I don’t have an exact timeframe. We are hoping to start by the end of the first quarter. WE have to first redo the Shopify App because of upcoming breaking changes with their API so that is scheduled right after we complete our WooCommerce App which is in the testing phase by our development team.
This is good news. I have been waiting for you to synchronize with Squarespace again ever since that function went away almost 2 years ago. I finally gave up and have been using someone else. But I like the quality of your prints and the selection of papers. However, the key phrase here is again “it’s in process”. My question is WHEN can we expect the synchronization with Squarespace to be live?
I would test again to see if it is working for you know. We made some updates in November that fixed some issues that some users were having. Ultimately though the app will be revamped at some point. Also, a lot of the Shopify users are switching over to Squarespace because order fulfillment by our platform is able to better integrate with it.
