Introducing Giclee Printed Cards

Get ready for something incredible. We’ve listened to your feedback and delivered beyond your wildest expectations! Greeting cards have long been a cherished favorite in the art and photography communities, and for years, we’ve proudly offered our Standard Cards, featuring your stunning images printed on a variety of card stocks from our trusted supplier. But now, we’re taking things to a whole new level!

Our folded cards have remained popular, and for good reason. They’re perfect for resale at gift shops, art shows, or online stores, complete with that personal touch of a handwritten thank-you note or special message. While flat cards and postcards have their fans, it’s the folded ones that truly attract the most interest. Still, we knew there was room to improve.

You’ve told us the following clearly: while our Standard Cards are solid, they don’t quite capture the breathtaking depth and vibrancy of our giclée prints, which we are most known for. Artists and photographers like you have been requesting cards an upgraded version with the same incredible color accuracy, rich saturation, and perfect tonal range, all on the fine art papers you prefer for your regular fine art prints. So, we set out to make it happen!

Facing the Challenges Head-On

The task wasn’t easy. Here’s what we were up against:

  • Matching the unrivaled color accuracy of our giclée prints.
  • Using the same archival inks and printers that ensure your work stands the test of time.
  • Not being limited by textured papers, which toner-based printing struggles to handle.
  • Perfectly cutting and creasing thicker fine art paper stocks—something our regular card cutters just couldn’t manage.

But guess what? We’ve conquered every hurdle!

Introducing the Giclée Artisan Edition Cards!

With cutting-edge technology in our corner, we’re thrilled to unveil our Giclée Artisan Edition Cards, printed right alongside your fine art prints. That’s right: from the printer’s perspective, these cards are fine art prints, crafted with the same care and precision. The only difference? A slick cutting and creasing process that transforms them into flawless folded cards.

Now, when you order a giclée print, you can pair it with a matching card on the exact same paper, with no detectable difference in quality. It’s a game-changer for your artwork, your brand, and your fans. We’re bursting with excitement over this new offering and can’t wait for you to experience it firsthand!

And before you ask, can these also later be framed and turned into a print? Absolutely since they are a giclee print, but one that has simply been converted into a card.

    1. At the moment we do not really see a way of doing this. The giclee paper is coated on one side and printed on rolls. TO have inner print, we would need to print on the back of the uncut card which we cannot do.
