The new Starter Kit is now available. Its a replacement to our bound sample booklet but also includes a calibration print and samples of our folded cards. Every day we have new customers contacting us asking where to begin, can they get some samples of the media we produce and how to know if their prints will look the way they see their image on their screen.
If you are a long time user of FinerWorks, this starter kit might be the opportunity to see some of the other media types you have not yet tried. If you have not yet used FinerWorks but are getting ready to order some prints soon, we highly recommend ordering the starter kit first.
As I said earlier, it provides samples but you can choose either an art or photo themed version. This means the images printed on the sample media will be either photographs or artworks. The samples provide you the opportunity to see and feel the actual media as well as see the print quality. These samples are not printed any differently than other prints. They are actually printed right alongside prints people order each day.
It also includes a calibration print printed on Archival Matte Paper. You still can order additional calibration prints on other media types if you like but there really is no need since the calibration print looks very much alike on all the medias.
Finally, just like our original sample booklets which we offered, we still include a $20 Gift Card good for 60 days that you can apply to an order when you are ready to start producing actual prints. Many of our customers apply that to order a couple small prints to proof their work within a few days they get it.
The above contents is placed in a folder and usually shipped out the next business day.
One thing I wanted to mention. If your own prints don’t appear as crisp and sharp as either the samples or calibration print then you will know that your image file’s quality may be lacking in some area. Fortunately we are here to help. While we would hate for that to happen to you we will be more than happy to help you figure out how to fix your images so they do print with the same quality and clarity you see in the samples or calibration print.
The new starter kit is $19.95 but it pays for itself since it includes a $20 gift card and $3.95 calibration print.
