FinerWorks offers FREE order fulfillment in the form of white label (drop shipping) for artists and photographers who want prints shipped under their name or brand.
This brief guide is meant to highlight those features we offer at FinerWorks for artists and photographers who use us as their order fulfillment service. At FinerWorks, we believe providing reliable order fulfillment must be simple. In addition, we want artists and photographers to be confident that their customers will receive the prints exactly as intended. There is no application process, and it does not take any special knowledge or technical expertise. If you know how to access photos or image files off your computer and use the Internet, your basic requirements have been met. If you have used FinerWorks before for online ordering, this guide will help you make sure you have not overlooked some of the tools we offer.
What is Drop Shipping?
One of the first things we did when we built our initial ordering system over a decade ago was provide an automatic drop shipping option. Drop shipping simply means you do not need to carry any inventory or worry about packaging and shipping. You commission the drop shipper (which would be FinerWorks) to send the order to your customers, but branded under your name, so it looks like you or your company shipped it.
Many big online companies rely on this method either solely or to let them ship products that they normally would not be able to inventory. Amazon.com uses this method for some of the items sold, and at the individual level, eBay and Etsy sellers use this method all the time.
How it Works
At checkout in the area where you select your “Shipping Method,” there will be a check box you can click to indicate you want it drop-shipped. If you provide a valid address in your account’s business profile, we will automatically check this for you. The order is then shipped and made to look like you are the sender. No information about us will be included. Prices will also be removed from the packing slip.
Some Examples
Murals & Wallpaper
We have built in volume & bulk discounts that will cover most scenarios; however, if the scope and size of the order is not listed when checking pricing, please contact us with the details of what you want to order and the time frame so that we can work out the fulfillment and pricing of the order.
Most people order online via our website’s Print Online Setup Tool. Using this method, you will upload your image file(s), select the product type, styles, and size of print you want, then add the item to your shopping cart.
Some businesses that use us may have their websites connected to us, either through our Order Fulfillment App or one of our legacy integrations, which allow for batch order submissions.
FinerWorks is unable to accept orders by phone or email.
1. Measure the Width
- Use a tape measure to record the horizontal distance of the wall from end to end.
- If wrapping around a corner, measure each wall section separately and add the widths together.
2. Measure the Height
- Measure from the floor to the ceiling (or desired mural height).
- Use the tallest point if the floor or ceiling is uneven.
3. Note Obstacles
- Record the size and location of windows, doors, outlets, or built-in fixtures.
- Decide if the mural should cover or work around them.
4. For Corners and Wraps
- Measure both walls independently (e.g., one 8 ft wall and one 4 ft wall = 12 ft total width).
- Mark the corner clearly when submitting your measurements or design layout so the artwork aligns properly.
- Add an extra inch or two at the corner for trimming and alignment.
5. Double-Check Everything
- Re-measure each dimension to avoid sizing mistakes.
- Round up on all sides by at least 1 ft to allow for trimming during installation.
Tip: Corners can cause pattern misalignment if not planned. If using a repeating pattern, make sure the designer or installer knows it wraps around.
There is no maximum size. You can order as much printed mural or wallpaper as you need based on the wall space coverage area. For murals, keep in mind that with murals, your artwork or imagery becomes less sharp the larger you go.
Contact us if you need assistance with replacing your mural printing or wallpaper. Please review our return policy as well.
Murals will be provided in easy-to-manage tiles to accommodate the wallspace you provide when ordering. Wallpaper will be produced in rolls at specified lengths. Order online via POST to see your options.
