Are you accepting international orders? If not, why aren’t you? When we refer to international orders, we of course mean orders shipping outside of the U.S. since we are based in the United States. Many artists and photographers do them thinking it is too complicated or too expensive to ship. If that describes you, you may be missing out on a golden opportunity if you use FinerWorks as your fulfillment partner for your prints. If you are transferring your orders through an app (not thought our shopping cart), the virtual inventory is the “glue” that binds your order submissions with our fulfillment center. Many of FinerWorks color lab customers are artists and photographers who use our drop shipping and order fulfillment services to have metal, canvas and framed fine art giclee prints made and shipped to their customers. Many have Etsy shops or sell on their own website. One of the pains though is dealing with sales tax. You have to register your business to get a Tax ID number and file either monthly or quarterly sales tax that you collect. But what if your customer is not located in the same State as your business. Do you have to charge sales tax to that customer and if so, how much?
