I am excited to announce several new mounting options coming up here in the month of January 2013. These include prints mounted on gator board and face mounted prints on clear acrylic panels.

If you have been following FinerWorks for a while you may know that Yakmonkey.com is now live and allowing people to start selling their work on their own, using Yakmonkey as their gallery and having PayPal host their shopping cart.

Today we have added a new feature which let’s anyone with an account save print options for instant ordering. It acts kind of like a wish list so many e-commerce site’s have but instead will be a listing of various print options you have preselected for your images.

We now have a new order form to setup and preview prints. It should be much more reliable than the form we had in the past, especially for MAC users who have problems with Adobe Flash.

A new reorder prints option has been added to people’s order history. This along with other account features should make FinerWorks order fulfillment services for artists and photographers quicker and easier.

We are now offering a Windows based software application for Yakmonkey to batch their images to their accounts. It is still in testing so let us know how it works for you.

We added some updates to the site to help MAC users experiencing problems with prints not showing up in their cart. We also made some changes which effected drop ship users shipping address when using PayPal.

Since we want to accommodate as many people as possible I had our accounts manager setup a comprehensive yet basic account option for those not interested in selling their prints on Yakmonkey.

We have modified the main menu to better reflect the printing services customers are looking for from us when it comes to printing artwork and photography.
